About the artwork
A cozy fall festival at dusk. Keep your eyes peeled for all of the snowmen joining in the Halloween fun. You might even find our very own Pickle Nose! The closer you look, the more spooky fun you'll find. You might even spot a puzzle piece or two in the clouds.
The book it almost came from
"Fall Fest" belongs with Snowmen at Halloween, written by Caralyn Buehner and illustrated by Mark Buehner (Dial Books, 2019), the book where an early autumn snow lets snowmen enjoy their own Halloween fun after the kids have gone to bed. This illustration didn't make the final cut, so it never appeared on the book's pages. It's cute as can be, which felt like a pretty good reason to turn it into a puzzle!
