Santa with his reindeer changing a bulb in the snow — deep reds against a purple winter night, with snow coming down in the lamplight. One of the warmest pieces of art we make, and one perfect to reach for once December arrives.
This one isn't from a picture book. Mark painted it as a greeting card for Peaceable Kingdom, and it has been a favorite of ours ever since.

How hard is it?
Difficulty: Medium. Recommended for ages 12 and up. Most people finish in 3–5 hours. Strong reds and golds make sorting easy; the falling snow is a little fiddly, and the darks in the reindeer are challenging.
